Looks lovely in my lounge and I have threaded lights through the branches so it is a feature at night time

The tree arrived surprisingly fast after Easter holiday. The leaves are a bit too artificial if look very close up but it is artificial tree so cant complain that 😛 The tree didn’t come with a plant pot and the base is a bit squint, cant stand by its own. I am going to buy a heavy pot to put this in. Overall I am happy with this product. Thanks.
Artplants Customer – :
I ordered this tree to fill a space in my living room. The particular area doesn’t get an awful lot of natural light, so a real tree was out of the question as it would have died within days and I am no Percy Thrower!
The tree arrived flat packed, like a Christmas tree, and the branches need to be splayed out and the leaves arranged in a realistic formation. I would definitely recommend spending time doing this, don’t rush it, as the more effort and time you spend on this the more realistic the finished artical will be.
The branches are wound with coconut hair, to make it look more authentic, which is a very good idea as this hides the shine of the plastic.
It also has it’s own terracota pot, which is a nice touch, but I would recommend putting it in a more stylish pot (maybe rattan or wicker) to give it a more homely look.
I would say the colouring of the leaves has been well thought-out as there is a good mix of greens, rather than everything being the same colour. My only criticism would be, that the leaves could be a little less shiney and more matt in places.
I love the real Rhapis Palms and whilst this is a very good imitation tree, you have to remember that it is just that “imitation” and chose your placement wisely.
If you put it in a brightly lit area it will undoubtedly look fake in a more dimly lit corner it looks surprisingly realistic. Just remember not to water it!
The price is quite reasonable, considering a real Rhapis Palm of the same size would definitely cost more and in my case, would’ve died within days anyway.
