Artplants launched in 2004, after a search for a highly realistic and affordable artificial tree left our founder, James feeling disappointed. Every tree James found was either a pale imitation of the real thing or vastly overpriced, so he set about creating trees to fill this gap in the market. In late 2004, the first collection of Bamboo and Palm trees gained popularity and James began to expand the range, offering floral trees, plants, flowers and hanging baskets.
