We have divided our range of artificial plants and trees into three categories in terms of their suitability for outdoor use. These recommendations are based on the plants being placed in a ‘typical’ outdoor setting. It is worth exercising caution in areas that are very exposed or susceptible to extreme conditions.
These categories are as follows:
Suitable for Outdoor Use
Plants in this category have been specifically designed for outdoor conditions.
Limited Outdoor Use
Plants in this category are UV protected but if placed outside will need to be located in a relatively sheltered area. Specifically plants of this type will need to be kept away from extreme conditions such as strong winds or frost as persistent exposure could lead to their foliage being damaged. It is important to note that all plants placed outside should be located in a well ventilated area, allowing them to dry out if they get wet.
Indoor Use Only
Plants in this category are UV protected, but they are not suitable for outdoor use.
Please note that the two major sources of damage to artificial plants are high winds and frost. As outdoor conditions vary considerably, it is not possible to guarantee the product life of plants placed outside.
